ATP EXPERIENCE
I have seen a few on the network flying the ATP EXPERIENCE livery with the call sign "Excel". Any explanation on what aircraft this is and where you can get the livery? Thanks
Re: ATP EXPERIENCE
Hello,
Thanks for your interest. For MSFS you can install the full plug-in by downloading the package at: http://www.atpexperience.net/downloads/AImodels.zip
I will upload the X-Plane CSL to this post later this week.
The FS package includes about twenty AI aircraft models with repaints. If you only want to see the ATPx aircraft, you'll need to extract just the TPX B717 and B737 models and edit your Pilotedge client text files to add the entries for the B737/B717/MD82, airline code TPX, and airline name Excel (in addition to the European airline Excel Airways that should be there already).
; or if you'd rather wait until we can get the mini-plug-in uploaded, I'll post a link here when we do.

Re: ATP EXPERIENCE
where does the AI model folder get installed to for FS?
Re: ATP EXPERIENCE
FS9: Unzip the contents of the AI MODELS folder into FS9/Aircraft
FSX+: Unzip AI MODELS folder to the sim objects folder.

jx: don't you need to update the mapping files in the PE client so that you see those models for the 3rd party aircraft?

With absolute certainty. They need to be added into the pe.smx file or they wont show.Keith Smith wrote:jx: don't you need to update the mapping files in the PE client so that you see those models for the 3rd party aircraft?

Those modified text files are all included in the zip. If I remember correctly the pe.sms file goes in the:
PE client folder/aircraft
and the rest go in the root PE client folder.
Back up your originals!

Well, for me it was easier to just input the information myself. I find it better to understand what your sim is looking for so you can edit as needed and maybe even add some of your own models as the drones. All in your preference, I suppose.

Keith - et.al.
Did these models ever get included in the main package? Is this post still valid instructions for adding to FSX or P3D?
