new to xplane where to see different types of aircraft, fms, gps, transponder mode etc, to fill the flight plan.\\in fsx client offers the options,,,,

In X-plane there is no drop down menu, you simply type in the aircraft type you are using with the equipment suffix.

Aircraft equipment suffixes are available at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equipment_codes Make sure you use FAA and not ICAO suffixes (near the bottom of the page).
