digital afd, suplementl not found

Post by falopz »

dont know it the DIGITAL afd was changed but watching tec route video the link is not the same this days, once the state is clicked, the scrol UP to clik supplemental is not there,,,,

this are the only options to click A/FD Legend | Alaska Legend | Pacific Legend | SW Hotspots | All Hotspots )no SUPPLEMENTAL.

at the top of this it says

The VOL/Back Pages column links in the results table contain the Supplemental information (Seaplane, Notices, FAA Phones, Routes/VFR Waypoints, Parachute Jumping Areas, Communications, etc.) found at the back of each volume.

cam someone explain how to get there,,

thanks a lot im mostly looking for florida tecs

anthony looking into the deigital afd, definitively, the california one is very diferente at least from the flirida one, the word TEC does not appear in florida afd, in page 426 from the link you gave, its the word ifr prefered routes,,,,but is not the same as tec routes depicted in california, the little map with the arows you fin in CA is not in florida and some other stuff,,,,in the florida one you find info from atlanta metro area for example,,,in page 42t etc, im not american so i realli dont know much about internal regulation,

but the point is...

in the video keith made about the tec routes, the present afd is not the same as the one showed in that video.....thats why i was kinda lost,

links is not the same, the map to click the stat youy wanna look is not there, so you have to look for the state you want (no map= and the supplemental link to look for the tec routes is not there eiher.

Not every facility has published TEC routes.

I know that Socal has them along with the northeast tri-state area, but I'm not sure outside of those two examples.

What are you trying to find, precisely?

You're right, the 'supplemental' link has moved. If you browse by 'volume' and select NORTHEAST (or just pick a specific airport, such as KCDW or KMMU), there are two PDF's that one will come up. One is the main AFD entry, the other is the 'VOL / BACK PAGES' link. The second one is the one you want. Search that for TEC and enjoy.
