Apologies to the controllers

Post by flyingdrill »

I've been trying to fly from Long Beach, IFR to San Bernardino. X-Plane has now crashed three times on me, and I've yet to get to the runway...... This may be a scenery issue. I'm not too sure.

Anyway, I apologise to the controllers, and am calling it a day (or more accurately, a night!).

We'll try again tomorrow :)

Was nice to hear a fellow Brit on the radio tonight (even though I'm an expat in the US now :) ).

I'm always on the PE IRC chat page when I fly... if you're ever interested in a joint flight sometime.

Take care and good luck with your sim technical issues.

Thanks Steven. I had a flight yesterday, with no problems. I just cut down the scenery a bit.

No need to apologize! I was working that night and gave you all of your clearances and then again the next morning I vectored you into SBD! So at least we know its not me that is causing the FS freezes! We've all been there, good job on not screaming at your computer like I do when FSX crashes! :D

Cheers!

Every time I hear this I start to roll on floor laughing. THEN I stop myself because except for happenstance it could be me........

I have just been lucky that some of the "conversations" that have gone on between me and the Sim haven't been caught on tape.
