forefight its downloadable (charts)

if you buy the app for foreflight charts can be downloaded into the ipad?

in case you dont renew the suscription those charts are viewable or if you dont renew you just dont get the updates?

if suscription is not renew the app will open?

It's usable without a subscription. The subscription allows you to download and keep new charts.

onc downloaes my question is, is the suscription is expired (1 year) charts will be open thru the app or theyre downloades as pdfs or other format?

i say this because im just sim flyer so i dont need to renew it all years

I'm not sure if it keeps the downloaded charts after your subscription ends. However, you can install the app and it will download the charts on the fly as they are needed without a subscription. It won't work well without an internet connection, but that should be ok for you. The subscription is needed if you want to have access to the charts when you are not connected.

I'm wondering if there's a way for PilotEdge to offer ForeFlight subscriptions as a bundle. Foreflight has a web portal for business users where you manage the number of authorized users and other details. Maybe as a $10/month add-on to the standard PE monthly fee. There would have to be some rules/guidelines around it. I'm not currently flying and don't have a cellular iPad to use it in the plane, but my standard WiFi iPad would work at home.
