COM 2 - ATIS

Hi All,

Quick question.

Am I allowed to listen to ATIS on COM2 while keeping COM1 alive, or does that constitute a frequency change that I should request from the controller?

You can listen to Com2, just don't play it so loud you can't hear a call to yourself

same as real world. You can monitor ATIS on one radio while you listen to ATC on another. ATC doesn't know or care as long as it doesn't impede your ability to communicate with them.
