X-Plane for Mac PE Crashes (Steam Version)

I am having a few issues with PE and my Macbook.

X-Plane runs great and then crashes a few minutes later after I connect to PilotEdge.

Here is what happens once I connect to PE. I can hear ATC but I can't see other airplanes or hear other pilots talking to ATC. Sometimes airplanes are frozen in the sky and some just move randomly.

I read a post about Steam and PE but I'm not too computer code literate so I got kind of lost. I'm not sure if my Steam version has anything to do with it but any help would be appreciated as I would love to start flying.

Cass, there are issues with the latest version of MacOS for some users, but we haven't been able to replicate it yet.

Please send your crash log if you can to support@pilotedge.net so we can have a look at where it's falling over. We're getting many of these reports, but very few logs to help us find out which part of the application is causing the issue.

It's unlikely that it's a Steam related problem with regards to xplane.

Thanks for the quick reply Kevin. I'm at work all day but I'll email support with the log later this evening. Do you want the Xplane logs also or just the PE one? (east coast)

Just the xplane crash log, nothing else.

I'll also try and send one tonight. I'm seeing this crash regularly as well, the minute I remote PilotEdge from plugins it goes away.

Some days it happens more consistently than others.

Mac Pro (10.10.1 Yosemite)
X-Plane (Steam edition)

X-Plane Plugins:
FlywithLUA
PilotEdge
XSaitekPanels
ScrollWheel
SASL (Carenado's plugin)

Attached is the crashdump I get when exiting X-Plane (or randomly it will crash) anytime PE is loaded. If I remove the PE plugin it no longer occurs.

Let me know if you need anything additional. (This is X-Plane 64bit.)

Very helpful, thanks. I will do my best to get to this during the week. I know there are a lot of mac users hurting right now. The thread dump contains some great info there. It's crashing while fetching information about one of the other aircraft in your vicinity. I'm going to try to take a serious crack at this tonight.
