Today was certainly a good day with pretty strong and opposite winds. Ending LAS-SNA in a 172 with a late dusk visual on 2R into 15kt winds was the perfect end, too bad I missed the packed traffic!

Haha yea it was a long day but with snow and Saturdays off I did KPSP to KLAS to do a different bravo VFR then I saw weird winds on the coast and I'm a pretty big nerd for opposite ops I had to get down to em!

oh yeah, that was a good day. I called in to the controller to report wind shear on approach. I had my king air c90 crabbing in at about 45 degrees and with the throttles at about 75 percent I was able to barely keep it at my vref of 97. When I was about 200 feet of the ground the plane dropped suddenly and picked up speed rapidly. I gunned the throttles and got my lift back just in time to straighten up and put the wheels on the runway but I was shucking and jiving halfway down the runway with rudder over corrections trying to straighten it up!!
