I never go below 47 fps and average is 50-55 fps about my resolution is 1440x900 at the min. I'll post a screen shot of my settings at the min in a bit

I can run x-pane at pretty high settings. I could increase the rendering options but at the minute, I get 50-55 fps, even at john Wayne, and flying around Santa Ana. This is why I don't want to increase my rendering options yet. I did set the weather to insane clouds, rain, visibility 30, and when parked at JW, I got 39fps sometimes when I looked to the left, but 50+ when I looked everywhere else.

I got mine up and running yesterday. Vast improvement. I've tweaked it to get about 30 FPS in the "busy" areas of LA and San Diego. Very pleased with it.

depending where i am it can drop down to 39 now i turned up the settings, I get between 40-50 fps

You should be excited. I have built the same system more or less. I have used a Asus 970 strix. My settings in XP are maxed out with some exceptions. And it runs really smooth and cool. Currently, a second 970 in SLI would not help as XP does not support SLI. Im sure that will come some day.
