Since the beginning of my PilotEdge journey, I have experienced no problems with comms so am wondering if anyone else has experienced this as NOTHING has changed on my machine.
I connected yesterday (April 19th around 15:00). I was located at KSBA on the GA Ramp, radio tuned to 118.00 for clearance. I listened for a few, as I always do, and noticed I wasn't hearing the control at all. I could hear everyone else making requests, repeating back instructions...i attempted a mike check...heard nothing, another mike check heard nothing. Been wanting to reinstall X Plane, due to a few scenery issues probably from me dumping and removing scenery into custom scenery, and now this. So took a trip down the rabbit hole and reinstalled X Plane (took a long time). Hoping tonight, once I have my inputs sorted out that I won't have any issue.
Has anyone else experienced this? I reviewed the audio file and heard myself as well as the ATC (however did not reply to my mike check).
Thanks in advance.

I think I've seen this a handful of times over the years. Normally, reconnecting to the network does the trick.
You could listen to the recordings to find out if you transmissions were making it to the server or not.
Note: re-installing xplane is unlikely to have any effect on this, it's more likely a run-time issue to do with voice ID's on the server.

cool. yes, my transmissions were recorded. Thought it was odd that I could hear everyone else and be heard, but not hear the controller. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, even rebooting to no avail. Didn't think x-plane reinstall would fix, but needed to happen anyway and since i wasn't flying with ATC, this was a good use of my time.
thanks Keith. loving the service! ATC's are rockstars!

Ah hah. Yes, this is a drawback of the voice isolation logic being changed. It no longer takes into account the range of the parties, except for the fact that the controller couldn't hear you.
