FSX CTD

Post by bbuckley »

Hi! I had an FSX CTD and disconnect on approach tonight (N600MA KBFL - KSBP) and after restarting FSX I tried to get on a freq and advise the RADAR controller that I had the CTD and was giving it up for the night. I notice PEAware has the flight as still in progress.
QUESTION: What is the best way to advise PE of a flight sim issue that caused a disconnect so that they aren't sending out the search parties? :)
Thanks for a great product / service!

they won't send out the search party, peaware will assume the flight was incomplete after a while.

No - it'll close automagically. Just a quick note for those who might* care - if you're on an FSE flight and have a flap overspeed or crash on finals - don't disconnect from PE or end the FSE flight. If you were close enough to the field, it'll log it on both PE (auto) and FSE (in the latest client, manually with the use of a button). Just pretend you crashed and were rescued :D

*no one actually cares or asked, I like to metaphorically hear myself talk
