I-04: TEC route - dealer's choice _ Question

Post by chopowski »

Hi, what is the correct process to get ATC to nominate the destination airport? Do I contact clearance and then ask them to nominate the airport, then file a flight plan with their nominated destination via TEC?

Thanks , Russ

Yep, call clearance and ask for a destination.

Example:

John Wayne Clearance, King Air 2253F request I4 destination
X-Plane 10.45
Pilotedge - V3/I11 (N2253F; UAL/CAL 2253; TPX___)

Got it.

Then on the flight plan is it acceptable to put the TEC route as per the AFD?

Thanks, Russ
