PE Team:
On your Facebook page on June 9th, you mention covering SEA, PDX, SLC, ASE, DEN, PHX airports. When would this be in effect on the network?

We're working on getting the required data from the FAA. Once we do and a launch date is determined, it'll be announced in many, many places, you won't miss it.

Hmmm. Just doing some interconnection testing between PSX and PilotEdge. To avoid messing with active service I launched at KDEN. Surprise... I hear PE online (although not at Denver). Some testing underway maybe??

Re: PE Coverage of New Airports?
More likely there was just a single controller working, or you were tuned to a ground frequency, so you were hearing all the planes the controller was working, but not the controller himself. The voice isolation logic was changed a while back and one side effect is that you hear pilots regardless for their distance or frequency.
We'll have a better of the launch date of the new service once we receive the remaining data from the FAA (we have received some of it). We're as excited as you guys are.

Hey Keith this is great news!
I hope it's not too personal to ask, how will you guys deal with the increased workload? Is it safe to assume you'll hire more ATC staff? Only reason I ask is, I've seen YouTube videos of how busy it can get during events, etc.
Cheers

It's a new facility with its own staffing.
Re: PE Coverage of New Airports?
That's amazing! It's awesome to see PE grow - hopefully we get an influx of VatSim users to check it out too.
