X-Plane ILS Issue?

Post by raflyer »

I have noticed that at all the airports I fly into that according to the VASI lights i'm on a perfect glideslope but my ILS is saying no, i'm below glideslope. Is this normal or a fault in X-Plane 10?

Might help if you mentioned some airport identifiers and ILS runways. There are quite a few airports where it states on the chart that the VGSI and ILS glide path are not coincident. Take John Wayne (KSNA) ILS or LOC RWY 20R for just one of many examples.

+1

Also, VASIs are only relevant out to a distance of 4 miles.
