Thank you for the replies. I purchased the digital download directly. Here we go, starting over from scratch learning an entirely new environment.

I was the same way about a year ago but haven't flown anything else since (I own both FSX box and FSX Steam edition). If you have questions there are plenty of knowledgeable folks on here to help out. One of the great things about X-Plane is all the free addons. I have started to dive into the addons..... daunting but fun. I love how portable it is (no registry)

Loaded HD Mesh v3 for PE area. Have loaded custom airports for PE area. I just now installed the airfoilslab 172.
I have yet to take off haha

Thanks for providing that list.

I am in awe of the camera abilities so far compared to p3d, but my A2A 172 does look better. Give and take but I think X may win in the end
