This is a really strange question but I'm not sure what to do next.
I was practicing for the I2 which ends with flying the ILS rwy 24 into KCRQ.
Here is the strange thing for whatever reason I can get the localizer and GS but nothing shows up on the DME??? I fly Prepard3d v3. I have tested with both the A2A C182 and the Turbine Duke and in both cases I have the ILS but no DME? I of course have the DME set to 108.7.
I have never had a case where there was a DME but I get no signal in the SIM!! Any suggestions??
Thanks!

Check for corrupt NavData. Check and make sure the DME info for the ILS is there in the file.
If anything, update NavData just in case.

Re: KCRQ DME
I'm loading up the sim now to check this. I'm using FSX:SE with the updated ILS/navaids from here: http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html
That site software will work on P3D also.
I'll post back my results.

Same result for me: No DME reported on the ILSstevekirks wrote:I'll post back my results.

Re: KCRQ DME
Yeah, I had to edit the airport in Airport Design Editor to enable DME. There may be other tools out there that can do it, but I'm not sure. I haven't checked since installing ORBX SoCal. Maybe they updated it with the recent release, but I'm pretty sure even their freeware KCRQ was still missing the DME.

I also have Orbx SoCal installed. I'm going to post this in the Prepard3D forums on AVSIM and LM's site.
