Re: Peaware flight logging
I know that X-Plane seems to be the preferred/only sim that a lot of the well known PE community use but there are quite a few of us that use and prefer P3D (for many many very good reasons). So are there any new HD CSL's coming our way?

There aren't CSLs for FSX/P3D. You can set your own models by modifying the pe.smx (FSX) or pe.smd (P3D). Biggest stipulation is that you must have the aircraft in your library.David Gilbert wrote:I know that X-Plane seems to be the preferred/only sim that a lot of the well known PE community use but there are quite a few of us that use and prefer P3D (for many many very good reasons). Right ok, so I presume if I working out how copy all the models in MyTraffic6 then they would perfectly?Marcus Becker wrote:There aren't CSLs for FSX/P3D. Indeed, it should. Just make sure you are using the "title" line from the Aircraft.cfg file.David Gilbert wrote:Right ok, so I presume if I working out how copy all the models in MyTraffic6 then they would perfectly?

Awesome! Thank you very much for this. MT6 has a pretty extensive amount of high quality models in its library.Marcus Becker wrote:Indeed, it should. Thread derailed a bit - but let me help derail it further
For FSX/P3D sims - I frequently don't see other user aircraft. I XP10 I see them a lot more often.
Is the default PE model files setup so the P3D baron would represent any small twin engine?

Usually, yes. It all depends on what is listed in the "related.txt" file. You can set up whatever you want displayed in there.
