Desktop Mic?
Desktop Mic?
PilotEdge says a headset is needed for use but would a desktop microphone (something like the Blue Snowball) be acceptable? I'd prefer not to wear a headset if I don't have to, and it's kind of a hassle to have to fiddle with my sound settings every time I start P3D.

A normal microphone will work on PE.

I've used the microphone on my webcam with no issues. Make sure you have whatever mic you're using set as default and you should be good to go.

My only advice would be to keep your sim sounds from being too loud, it can over power the coms when you mic in.
