I fly for a aerial survey company and we fly Navajos in the SFRA two or three times a year to do mapping work. The last few times, we've even flown in the FRZ and the 7nm ring. Hardest part is just getting all the paperwork filed and touching base with all the different organizations. An interesting thing about flying within the 7 nm ring is you have to have an armed law enforcement officer on board. One officer we had had his PPL and was glued to the windows the whole flight saying that he never gets to fly that close to DC and was having a time with it.
Here is a picture I took on one of the lines. We did get a lot closer to P-56 during that mission.
