COM 2 Mic?

Hey folks, wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with this. I just got a new aircraft, (http://store.x-plane.org/Piper-PA28R-Ar ... p_319.html) and it has a shiny COM 2 Mic button that I can use to switch to the secondary radio. However when I activate the COM 2 Mic, PE controllers still hear me on the active frequency on my COM 1 radio. Is this feature not supported on PE, or could this be an issue with my plane or setup?
