Nice, Dan. I love flying the Hudson.

Here's a short video of me returning from a trip up to MGJ at night.

Where did you get that scenery?

....looks stunning, you must have quite the machine

Seriously, great pics....it looks so awkward to be flying so low and close to Manhattan like that. It must be a little butt clenching to punch through there right?

It's always a privilege to fly over the Hudson, it never gets old!

Speaking only for myself, it's rather routine technically but as Keith said always awe inspiring. EWR ATCT most usually grants me permission to do 360-degree turns around "The Lady" so that my guests can take some pretty great pictures.

I usually exit the Skyline Route flying overhead Central Park, then over LGA ATCT, south stanchion of the Throgs Neck Bridge, and along the north shoreline of Long Island back home. It's awesome every time.

It was a great experience. This was my first time flying over the Hudson. And i thought flying over Philly was nice....
Dan K and I flew northbound at around 5:45pm, landed at KCDW to log cross country time and then back home to Philly through the Hudson again at night.
We asked for a 360 around Liberty... that was incredible!.

Dan K, thanks for posting this.

If you come by this way again, ping me and I'll see if I can meet you at Lincoln Park for lunch. The food there is above average for an airport restaurant and the view is great.
