What I meant is, might the title of that upcoming video series be "Real World ATC?" You don't have to answer that. :)

Ahh, gotcha. I actually will answer that. No, the video product is not focused on ATC, it'll be for pilots. This was just a unique perspective on the arrival at LAX and the flight to CRQ.

Looking forward to seeing it. I've really enjoyed the RW IFR and VFR series. Was this the LAX occasion with the flat tire?

Thanks, it's shaping up to be quite a video. Yes, the LAX arrival resulted in the flat tire at the end of the taxi (landed 24R, long taxi to south complex).

On the first video, you had a code of V4R* instead of destination airport. I'm guessing that's shorthand for "visual 24R LAX"...

Exactly! That's what's called a scratchpad. Controllers will put entries in there so it shows up in the datablock. You will notice that we use the exact same codes here on PE if you watch a controller's stream. V4R for Visual 24R, I4R for ILS 24R. https://www.twitch.tv/kmeyers6/profile/highlights

I've done that before on VATSIM when controlling, cool to see it in real world ops too... :)

Also, just before the right 210 into the approach at KCRQ, there was a VFR flight really close, surprised you didn't get a traffic pointout.

That VFR target is several miles away and since she was basically giving me a 180 degree turn, my guess is she didn't feel the need to point it out. Had I continued eastbound, we would've heard about it.
