Have never flown vfr ever so can someone explain what Not to do when flying vfr. I have been searching done about the subject. Traffic patterns. Will atc tell if it's left or right?

Your question here is a bit too generic.
Generally speaking, ATC will not tell you what to do as they do in IFR. It is important to have a very good understanding of VFR before you should be flying IFR.
I have suggested before (and going to suggest again) that you take the PilotEdge Pilot Training Rating course. Along with that, you should watch the free workshop videos. They are long but FULL of priceless information.
Workshops (I suggest watching these first) Start from the bottom and work upwards- http://www.pilotedge.net/workshops
Training program Overview (The ratings can be found on the ratings tab)- http://training.pilotedge.net/page/overview
Side note- You mentioned in another post that you took the i-1 exam and passed on the second try or something like that. You cannot skip around in the ratings. They must be done in order... therefore, you will need to go back and do the v1, v2 and v3 before completing the i-1 exam (at least to get credit on the roster for it).

Yep.
Was just a misunderstanding on that. Going to do the vfr ratings. V1 seems good after reading some and looking at the video. V2 seems also okey. But v3 seems difficult but I will look at the video. Did see 13 min of it now and will see the rest when I have time.

Yes the v3 is hard. Very hard if you haven't a good understanding of airspace and VFR procedures. That's where the 4 VFR workshop videos come in. I, personally, don't recommend taking the v3 until you watched all 4 of those VFR workshops.
