Sorry Marcus ...

Thanks for your patience just now when my mic was hot. I was making a vid of the flight and you (and everyone else) had to hear the narration for about five minutes. It's a sticky PTT switch and I'm getting it fixed.

BFG,

I watched your videos and love your sim. That is really a cool setup you have - what a great job.

Wow, Rod. Thanks so much. That means even more coming from a CFI. Being just 17 hours into my own training sometimes I wonder if I'm getting out of my depth narrating the videos. I'm very glad you like them.

I've been videoing the CAT series and am up through CAT-03. They're not all perfect (including the open mic on the CAT-03) nor is my performance, but if they're of interest I've got them in a YouTube playlist here:

I'm not a CFI, (but it's on my to do list). You're certainly doing well for only 17 hrs in, which says a lot for the value of simulation and PE. I only wish I had a set-up like yours during my PPL training.

Absolutely no need for an apology either. It's good you were briefing yourself. I know it's something I need to do more of and everything you were saying was absolutely relevant. I hope you get your button figured out.

Thanks. The yoke maker replied straight away. In the meantime there's another button on the right-hand side ...

Ahh, OK. Updated my profile to clarify. BTW, KSFF is my home field and I own a hangar there. If you come up here to visit your brother, we need to meet or better yet, go for a local flight.
