Connecting with no error or ATC audio

Hello Folks,
I had things working and flew a couple of times. Nice! I was really enjoying it.
Then I rebooted my PC. I also installed the CH Controller software in an effort to assign the radio talk button to one of the many buttons available on my yoke.
Now I connect and get silence.
What have i done!!!

As steps to fix this before posting I have:
Uninstalled CH Controller
Ran repair reinstal FSX, and SP1 and SP2
Reinstalled PE
FSX asked about the 2 DLL's when it started so I started getting excited.

PE starts but I don't hear controllers.

Thoughts?

Also - when I key the mike I get a TX, I also see the RX light up, but no audio.
When I tune to ATIS I hear audio.

If you see the rx light but don't hear anything, it means there is a playback issue. Have you tried telling PE which output device to use?

Am guessing you were calling for radio checks last night, we heard you.
