Advice for newbies (from a newb)

Seems like there are very few inexperienced people (like myself) on this forum but for some reason I wanted to share this:

Listen to audio archives, ESPECIALLY the ones from days when you were connected.

LISTEN to yourself on the radio, ADJUST your mic settings as needed, NOTICE your strengths, RECOGNIZE your weaknesses.

A map is of no use if we don't know where we are.

Something I try to remember each and every day:
