Opinion on PE

Post by Mark Cioffi »

I’ve been listening to different PE controllers and have been absolutely impressed by the quality of your work. I’m an FO for Delta Air Lines flying the 737NG and between Delta and the USAF I have 30+ years worldwide flying experience. I can say without a doubt that the controllers of PilotEdge are second to none! It has reinforced my contention that PE is going to be a huge commercial success and that success is going to be precisely because of the quality of PE controllers. Don’t change a thing.

And because Keith came up with a terrific idea of establishing PE at all. :D No pun intended but this is where all started, with idea of creating the closest match to real ATC in aviation simulation world.

I wonder why nobody else came up with a project like that...

I also have no doubts about PE future.

Keith is gifted with many talents that came together to create PE. I'm sure there were others that may have had the idea but not the talent to put it together. Aviation is obviously benefiting already from his foresight.

I sure hope he doesn't read this :D

I hope the opposite. :D
My "rule" is that if the credit is due, it needs to be given.
I know that it might sound like $$$ kissing but Keith did an excellent job and I DO want him to know that I see that. :)

Cheers, AJ

Thank you, gentlemen. It's much appreciated.

While I have put every ounce of energy I've had over the past 2 years into this venture, and considerable thought into how it would work well before that, I would be remiss in not mentioning that the network would be nothing without the controllers who work here and the people who helped develop the procedures, sector files, training program, the web site, etc etc. The number of moving parts that make up PE is truly staggering, and it goes without saying that it's more than any one person could handle. Thankfully, I don't have to because we have a solid team working behind the scenes.

I know that sounds like corny corporate speak, but it is absolutely true.

And then, of course, we have the pilots who fly here. It goes without saying that it would be an awfully quiet place without you guys ;)
