PilotEdge User Locations

Post by Kevin_atc »

Ever wonder where the other pilots are physically located that you hear in the PilotEdge skies on a daily basis? We have recently gathered the data to develop a map of our pilots' home towns. As you can see from the image below, if you are in the SoCal area or along the East Coast, you're not alone! If you are more in the middle of the country, maybe you can even find which pin is yours. It should also be noted that we do have several users outside the continental US (including other countries) that are not displayed on this map.

Great job, Kevin,

Here's a link to map graphic, the forum is truncating the eastern portion of the map:

I know I'm just a lowly controller here, but I do fly occasionally on PE... Any idea why Grand Forks isn't showing or is North Dakota possibly mistaken as a "foreign country" with our proximity to those Canadian people? :)

That's correct. We were strictly looking for registered pilot data, sorry AJ :)

Kevin,

Can you post the international map, too? There's nothing more heart breaking than seeing a sad Canadian.

It's like watching a baby seal with a lame flipper.
