And here is the virtually-finished MK II. She is up and running on 2 PCs only (gotta mount the 2nd projector...) and the switch panel still does not work. I need to get the panel working, because without it I cannot switch transponder to normal mode or ident--so I cannot fly on PE yet.

A nice shot of the cockpit. Notice how I made sure to engineer enough center console space for 2 frosty pints to be parked without getting in the way of flight ops. Yoke on the left, stick on the right. I even scratch-built a panel with a powered USB hub to power panel lights, tablets, and other USB devices. Currently only the left seat is a rumble seat. The right seat is a cheap knockoff that needs to be replaced. Rumble seats kick ass in sims.

This is a nice view of the cockpit and looking out at the KLGB tower (using the map available on www.splane-scenery.com) The projected screen is just over 7' wide, and 4' tall. Giant projected screens are far more immersive than small monitors. When I bank the simulator, my passengers tilt their heads because they feel like they are really flying. You actually have to turn your head to look around.

So, that's all I have for now. You should hear me in the skies, putting N6759M through her paces till I get the bugs worked out.

Excellent job! It's so easy, a caveman could do it. :)
