FSX Pilots: MegaSceneryX SoCal now on sale until 4/13

A heads-up to FSX pilots - PC Aviator is offering a great deal right now through 4/13 on "MegaSceneryX: Southern California," which is photo-realistic scenery that covers almost the entire ZLA/PilotEdge operating area. This title is normally US $39.95 but they are offering it for US $19.97:

The boxed version also comes with all instrument approaches and VFR charts for the area, but realize that these charts are quite old now and may have discrepancies with the PilotEdge ATC world.

As someone who has this title I strongly suggest taking a look at it, as IMO it elevates the look of the SoCal scenery immensely. Note that this title also has little if any negative effects on frame rates (some claim it improves frame rates), but the downside is that it consumes a large chunk of hard drive space.

This is definitely one of the high quality MegaSceneryX titles available.

I have it and it's fantastic. As much as I don't like PC Aviator for the worst customer service ever, I admit it...that's a great deal.

I fully concur with Peter's recommendation -- MegaSceneryX SoCal is a great addition. Now if only they'd publish the equivalent for NoCal....
