Occasional PE error

About once every ten launches of FSX, I receive the following error before the sim fully starts up:

It almost seems harmless, for if I close and restart the sim that same error does not re-appear. Is this just a temporary client/server connection issue or something else?

Something else, that is the popup transponder app.

Haven't seen the error before, though. Can anyone else let me know if this has happened to them?

About every 3 or 4 times I start FSX, it takes a very long time to do so. I typically just shut down through Task Manager and restart. When I restart I get the following error. (attached)

Interesting, that's two reports of this issue, then.

The transponder app connects to FSX via SimConnect, that's about all it does at startup. When it gets word that PE has connected to the network, it makes itself visible.

I don't have a solution to this right now because it's not something I can replicate at all.
