The actual Boulder VOR

My wife is still trying to understand why I insisted on pulling off the road in order to take this picture, but I knew you guys would understand. :ugeek:

This is the actual VOR on top of a mountain in Boulder City, just west of Hoover Dam. Anyone who's flown the KLAS arrival procs should be familiar with it. Snapped this while on vacation last week.

Cool pic! I've only seen the OCN one in person and I've wondered if they all look the same. I can never seem to find the JLI VOR from the ground though. It must just be too high up.

Yeah, they all look relatively alike. I've seen AML (on KIAD), ATL, OMN, and BOS.
