PilotEdge Screenshot Contest- Win a free month of PE!
PilotEdge Screenshot Contest- Win a free month of PE!
Hey PE users!
Do you want your next month of your PilotEdge subscription to be on us? PilotEdge is looking for a breath-taking screenshot of yours to upload as the cover photo to the official PilotEdge Facebook page. Whether it's of you flying with a scenic sunset or with beautiful terrain and mountain ranges, we are looking for an eye-catching image that will work well on the Facebook page. Keep in mind that the image needs to be considerably wider than it is tall so it will format properly for a Facebook cover photo which will go at the very top of the Facebook page.
Please post your submission(s) in this thread. All submissions will be judged by PilotEdge staff.
Not only will the winning picture be posted as the PilotEdge Facebook page cover photo, but the user who submits the winning screenshot will win a free month of PilotEdge!
Be creative! Don't hesitate to edit your screenshot in Photoshop to make it look stunning. EDIT: According to Facebook, the optimum cover photo is 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall. So, I would make sure your photo can be properly cropped to fit these dimensions.
The submission deadline is Sunday, January 20th at 23:59 PST (0759 zulu). Good luck!
*No purchase necessary. Winner will be judged internally by PilotEdge staff. The winner will be notified via email or on the forums no later than Wednesday, January 23rd at 23:59 PST. Winner will be given credit for the screenshot in the caption, however submitting a screenshot releases all copyrights of the screenshot to PilotEdge. All screenshots submitted must be originals by the user submitting the screenshot.

Re: PilotEdge Screenshot Contest- Win a free month of PE!
Hi Kevin,
Here is my submission for the contest.
I think it is a good shot as it has all the elements required.
Land, water, cloud and of course sky!!

Hi Kevin,
What is the size of the picture needed in pixels?
Can we submit more than one to increase the variety to choose from?
Cheers, AJ

Re: PilotEdge Screenshot Contest- Win a free month of PE!
1. I don't like or care for Facebook.
2. I've got a free life membership so competing here wouldn't do anything.
3. Posting this as a joke, as I can't resist.
See this thread for my entry!

Re: PilotEdge Screenshot Contest- Win a free month of PE!
Hi Kevin, just in case I was a winner, I donate my free monthly PE membership to PE for even more rapid growth...
I am not into the competition but below are three screenshots of the size you wanted in case it could be used.
X-Plane is great, it gave me many headaches in the past but now it is pure pleasure.
Enjoy the screenshots.
Cheers, AJ
P.S. BTW, I took these shots with Keith's new 64 bit plugin and I am showing on PE website, can not wait to test the voice when Controllers start their outstanding job.

Bruce, did those format properly on the forums? It seems as though the right sides of a lot of those shots are cut off. Don't be afraid to upload those at attachments on your posts in order to ensure the full image is able to be viewed.

The forum is limiting their dimensions to preserve readability of text. Right click on the image, copy image URL, paste in another tab and you'll see the full image.
