I know that you can just specify the name of the TEC route when you file a flight plan, but for some reason I prefer to file the actual route and state the TEC route name in the comments.
I have a question on filing the route for SANN4, KSAN to KLAX. The route is SAN MZB293 SLI148 SLI LAX. This works very well with VOR. However, the default FMS in X-Plane doesn't know VOR radials. When I looked at skyvector, I saw that SAN MZB293 SLI148 SLI LAX is the same as SAN MZB PEBLE SLI LAX as far as routing. Going via PEBLE has the same effect as going the 293 radial on MZB and then intercepting the 148 radial of SLI.
So if I file SAN MZB PEBLE SLI LAX to match the way I fly it, is that correct?

Re: TEC Route Filing
I file as it says in the TEC route and then I input what I need to make it work on my GPS. As long as it is the exact same routing, I do not see the harm.

Re: TEC Route Filing
If you look closely, the TEC routing is virtually identical to the PEBLE4 departure.
