Hi Guys,
Ok, this should not be a flight to a US novice, but I can't help to try it.
The flight would be from KGCN to 1G4. I already know that there are a Special Flight rules for the area and that I have to keep away from the Flight-free zones. I took a look at the SFAR 50-2 (http://www.risingup.com/fars/info/part9 ... SFAR.shtml) and at the Grand Canyon VFR Chart. The problem is that a had some trouble finding some points mentioned to comply with the restrictions.
In resume, can anyone help me with this route (specially the FL restrictions). The planned route would be entering from southern SUPAI sector, heading west to Diamond Creek sector and keep north of SANUP flight Freezone until 1G4.
Thanks!
PS. The flight will be in a C206H.

Here's a route you could use:

Navigate using a radial off the GCN VOR. Use DME and/or timing to identify the visual checkpoints along the way, should be pretty easy. Looks like a great flight. Leave the GPS off, you don't need it.

Btw, at some point you might stop receiving the GCN VOR. So, make sure you establish your crosswind correction while you're tracking the VOR and then hold that heading as you continue west.

Thanks, Keith.
Actually that would be the exact route that I described early, but in fact I'm more concern about the altitude. I don't want to pic one that could violate the SFAR. Any clue?
