We just opened the door for pilots. Below is the first newsletter we sent.

Cheers, AJ
Dear Pilot / Fellow Aviation Enthusiast,
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to experience the dawn of a new wave in flight simulation - Dream Flight International (DFI).
Visit us at http://dreamflightinternational.net/
WHAT IS DFI?
------------
Dream Flight International is a flight simulation club formed by a few fellow aviation enthusiasts, some of whom are probably familiar to you. Our goal is to reintroduce a key aspect of flight simulation, i.e. FUN, back into flight simulation.
We are currently in beta and I am privileged to extend this invitation to you to join us when we are so young, and help grow DFI into a strong, powerful voice for freedom in flight simulation.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
-----------------
At DFI, you will find a free (both in terms of money, and in terms of rules) flight simulation community that offers the following features:
* Free training courses.
* Tours and Special Operations.
* Our own TeamSpeak server.
* Our own XACARS server.
* Fresh ways to track your flight logs.
We are in the process of building additional features including the following:
* Achievements system to help you show off your achievements proudly.
* Social network connectivity so you can show your friends that "you got it!"
* More tours, special operations and challenges.
Best of all, we impose no restrictions on your flying
* No flight minimums - we understand - flight simulation is your hobby, not your career.
* No fixed flight routes - isn't there enough forced structure in the world already?
* No formal pilot ranking - there's enough of a rat race in the real world!
* No graduation requirements to fly new aircraft - we get it - you're an adult!
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
----------------------
We feel very strongly that the current state of flight simulation, which is dominated by virtual airlines, significantly detracts from one primary aspect, i.e. FUN!
Virtual airlines have started imposing a whole host of requirements that pilots are expected to meet in order to fly. What is worse, if a pilot does not meet an arbitrarily determined "flight minimum," that pilot's account is deleted and all their progress is lost. Some virtual airlines have even forced participation in their forums by enforcing a minimum posting requirement, which forces pilots to come up with innovative means to post something on the forums.
Our point of view is simple - we are all flight simulation enthusiasts for a reason. We enjoy the freedom of flight, and we choose to use flight simulation as our means of enjoying flight. This is not our career, but our hobby. Most of all, it is our passion.
We do not want to destroy your passion by forcing you to follow a series of arbitrary rules!
WHAT CAN YOU DO NEXT?
---------------------
* Visit our website at http://dreamflightinternational.net/
* Register on our website - click on the "Join Now" button on the home page, or go directly to http://dreamflightinternational.net/register-3/
Registration automatically creates your XACARS account, and our XACARS and TeamSpeak information is available to you from the Pilot's menu on logging in.
We will allow you to transfer hours from your current VA (a one-time-only transfer of total hours) to DFI.
Participate in our forums (no, we will NOT force you to join them) by visiting http://dreamflightinternational.net/forum/. You will need to create a username and password separately for the forums.
Thank you for your time in reading this. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or encounter any problems.
We look forward to meeting you in the friendly DFI skies!
