There was a voice server outage that also affected the training web site last night. I wasn't available to resolve it until this morning. I swapped to an alternate machine for the voice server before opening this morning since the machine wasn't physically accessible due to security changes at the building where our office is located.

I was able to gain physical access to the box to get it restarted a few minutes ago. As a result, the training web site is back up again. I'll continue running with the remote voice server for today and will swap back over to the original configuration before opening tomorrow morning.

The voice recorders can become unreliable when running in this distributed configuration (ie, a remote voice server), so if they lose connection today, don't worry, we'll be back to normal ops by tomorrow morning.

Apologies for the early closure last night. The controllers made the right call under the circumstances. The responsibility for the outage lies with me. I'll take steps to make sure the voice server is restarted on a regular schedule to avoid unexpected outages (it needs reboots every 4-5 weeks due to resource limitations associated with the drone application).
