Difficulty Seeing Traffic

Hello all,

Just wrapping up my trial period on PE and I've jumped on the monthly plan because PE is so fantastic. I've just got one problem and that is seeing traffic when advised by controllers. Now I know it's not literally a display issue of them not appearing because I can see traffic in airports and sometimes in external views (especially behind me) but I never see traffic out of the front window and I feel bad wasting a few minutes of the controllers time as they update me and while I say "looking etc etc" and then finally "non issue".

Any recommendations? Current PE settings is display within 10 miles and most frequent updates.

Interesting... what sim and what aircraft? I wonder if it's an alpha issue or something with your canopy glass.

I'm using FSX and A2A's 172 trainer. Other addons that I guess may affect this are ASN.

I find it nearly impossible to see other traffic using FSX/P3D. I have a button on my yolk set up to cheat and toggle aircraft labels when I get a traffic callout when I'm using P3D. Otherwise there is very little hope of spotting them outside of a mile or so. X-plane does a MUCH better job with displaying other aircraft.

Yeah I do that too... Then again it's tough to find acft sometimes in the real world.
