I installed the PILOTEDGE v1.0.2 for P3D and got the error message below. In the process of moving away from FSX to P3D. I tried all the common issues, no luck, and yes I have P3D running with the plane parked at the airport ready to go - turned OFF “Pause on task switch” as well.
"protocol error" - an error occured connecting to Air Traffic Control server
Thanks!

P3D - unable to connect to PILOTEDGE
Re: P3D - unable to connect to PILOTEDGE
I got that error when I had typoed my password. Double check your email address (don't use your user name) and your password. Not a magic cure, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

Re: P3D - unable to connect to PILOTEDGE
Oh my goodness... I feel silly... I had the cap locks on and didn't realize it for the password.
thanks!

Re: P3D - unable to connect to PILOTEDGE
One day we'll get those friendly error messages back (they disappeared after an architecture change on the server). They still show up in X-Plane, but the P3D/FSX client doesn't seem to get the message in time.

Hi Keith,
Hope all is well, I have been away for a long time now that I am back it seams like PilotEdge is doing very well these days, congrats to you and your team!
I have a few friends also flight simmers who are interested in your ATC system. The past 6 months I joined CAP ( Civil Air Patrol ) in the metro Atlanta area becoming one of the flight crew and a IT officer who will be involved in working with cadets and mission pilots in the flight sims at the CAP locations. I have talked to our Commander about installing PE to all flight sims for ATC pilot training that are currently using FSX, they are very interested and my hope is that the rest of GA wing will join as well bring you more customers. On my personal sim I am in the process of moving from FSX to P3D 2.5, been having so many issues with losing COM or my COM stays on with PE during any basic flight through FSX when I use the A2A Accum sim planes, hopefully tomorrow when I install A2A planes to P3D I will not have the same problem.
best wishes to everyone at PE and other pilots!
