Looking to see if anyone else out there has the Carenado Bonanza A36 (version 3). If so would like to see if you have this issue with the flip flop on COM1. Here are the steps to reproduce and the issue.
1) Assign a keyboard key to the COM1 Frequency flip (puts the standby freq in the active freq)
2) Change the standby frequency to something other than what it is currently set to.
3)Use the keyboard key that you assigned to change the standby frequency to the active frequency
If it works correctly what you set in standby should move to the active and what was in the active should move to standby.
What I am seeing is the active frequency becomes whatever was previously in the standby frequency before the change. What is interesting is it works fine if I do the flip with the mouse control which is what I have been doing for a couple of months.
I have had support tickets open with Carenado who said they are using the stock x-plane GNS so it is not their issue even though I do not have this issue in any other aircraft including Carenado. X-Plane says it is not their issue since it works in all of the other aircraft.
So now I am just looking to see if it is an oddity with me or something that is really broken.
Thanks for anyone that can run through this as a test. Really appreciate it.

Re: Carenado BE36 - COM1 Radio Flip Issue Using a Keyboard K
I have this same issue with the Carenado A36 even without the PilotEdge plugin installed.
Additionally, it is basically impossible to tune Com 1 using the mouse manipulator spot. Clicking and dragging or using the scroll wheel result in the value changing randomly up and down. I have to use keyboard shortcuts to tune.

Appreciate the reply. I will open another ticket with Carenado. If you happen to get a chance to do the same may be good for them to see more than one on the same issue.
I will look at the tuning with a mouse. I have always used keyboard keys to tune the radio so I have not tried the mouse. I will open a ticket on that as well.
Thank You!!!!!

Re: Carenado BE36 - COM1 Radio Flip Issue Using a Keyboard K
Hi guys,
I saw this thread earlier and filed a mental note. I don't know if this is related or not, but I have been flying the default 172, tuning the radios via mouse click on the GNS430. Using 10.35 XP, I have started having weird anomalies where the standby frequency is changing itself (always the major frequencies - not the decimal) - as if I had erroneously clicked somewhere. I would swear on a stack of bibles that I have not and this has happened repeatedly in recent flights - but never before 10.35...I wonder if there might be a bug in XP not Carenado.
I'll post another item to see if folks see the same issue.
