The drone a/c are a really nice touch to the uncontrolled airports in the PE service area. However, there are 3 twin props at Banning Municipal (KBNG) that are more nuisance than anything. They approach and land at what I would estimate as maybe 120-160 knots, engines off, and they don't actually use the runway for landings or takeoffs -- instead using the grass to the south between the runway and taxiway. They also taxi from the southwest parking area near the refueling box to rwy 26, and the taxiing is literally zero to 40 knots instantly and quite erratic across the field (taxiway, grass, runway, back, etc.) making them truly difficult to get out of the way of. I've now lost my third FS Economy flight after arriving at KBNG because the twin prop gang takes me out while I'm exiting the runway lol...
Anyway, it looks as though maybe it's supposed to be one aircraft, but the code is all bugged out or something. And the frequency of these 3 operations is a bit much. There has to be 3 takeoffs followed by 3 landings in quick succession maybe 2 or 3 times every 30 minutes, making Banning the busiest airport I've seen so far.
I really don't want to complain, this service is truly epic! Just not sure where to post bugs, and I'm fairly certain this is a bug. Thanks!
Johnny

Re: Drone pilot gangs KBNG
The landing on the grass thing depends on your scenery. FSX, P3D, FS9, XP10, XP9 etc... scenery is slightly different between all versions. Example if you bought some addon airport in FSX it may be higher than a XP10 users' airport. You won't even see them taxiing.
So anyway the grass thing... could be your airport scenery is slightly different than the one that Pilot Edge uses for its drones.

I had considered the scenery file as why they aren't perfectly on the taxiways/runways. I'm sure you're right. I do wish they would taxi and/or move about the airport a little cleaner. I just flew the same flight, this time much more cautious at Banning, but they got me... again
. This time I saw all three taxiing from parking to rwy 26, so I quickly put on the parking brakes to end the FS Economy flight, then taxied entirely off the taxiway to get out of their way. They taxi at very high speed. they all 3 passed so I continued towards the ramp. One flew over head after departure, then the other two taxied right through me from behind... literally at 40+ knots. Not sure why they didn't takeoff, or perhaps they were new arrivals, but they were taxiing side by side like a clothesline
. I think I'll be avoiding that airport from now on.
Edit: ...I suppose I could turn off the collision detection with other aircaft.. There's a lot of hooch to be made on that route

Ever since I have been flying online, I have turned off collision detection in my SIM mainly for the reason you mentioned. I have other 3rd party programs that I use for FSX to tell me if I am flying too hard or abusing the aircraft.Johnny Olson wrote: Edit: ...I suppose I could turn off the collision detection with other aircraft.. As its no fun to be at the end of the flight and have something silly like touching another plane or a AI run into me and blow my time and have to redo the flight.

Skylark also has alot of activity, I have gone missed a couple of times there...keeps you looking for those dammed NORDO guys!
I find it fun...but then again it may not be as active as Banning
