Are you going to be at Airventure this year? Then plan on joining us over in CAMP SCHOLLER on Wednesday (July 22nd) evening at around 5PM. We'll have some frosty beverages and munchies on hand. BYOLC (Bring Your Own Lawn Chair if you have one). Around 8:00 PM we'll wander back over to the flight line to catch the night airshow (if you have never seen this, it's a "MUST SEE" event).

Camp Scholler is adjacent to the convention grounds.

• Just walk out the gate near the Fly Market and Aeromart.
• Go south on Forest Home Ave to Lindbergh
• Go right on Lindbergh to 45th St.
• Left on 45th St., we'd are 4 sites up on the right

Our site is about 700 feet from the gate.

Arrived at Oshkosh today and set up camp. I updated the initial post with our exact location. If you attending Airventure, we hope to see you next Wednesday evening!!!!

Change in plans on 2 counts. First, the plane won't be ready after getting a new engine installed, so I will be either riding the Harley or driving. On the first test flight the gear warning horn was set to 25" MP and not the normal 15". On the second flight when the plane was pushed back in the hanger the fuel pump was pissing fuel. It was supposed to have been replaced with a rebuilt pump.

Second, I will be leaving Wednesday morning and staying until Friday. My wife recently took a new job and she has new customers that planned for her to be onsite so RAGBRAI is out now.
