Does anyone know why the BE20 is a CATIII for same runway sep? More of an ATC question but the max takeoff weight listed for the typical king air 200 is exactly 12,500. The JO 7360.1 shows all BE20 aircraft and their derivatives as a CAT III. CAT II is defined as any aircraft with max TO weight 12,500 lbs or less. So shouldn't this be CAT II?
Is it possible because some of the different -200 models have a higher takeoff weight than 12,500?
Anyone know?
This actually came up today at work and in the past I just went with the "book," but two other coworkers of mine said they've been viewing it as a CAT II for ever haha!
Why a BE20 is CAT III SRS?
