Oshkosh 2016

Post by RyanK »

Airventure is only a few weeks away! Who's going? I'll be working in the proficiency center as a CFI on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday afternoons, and possibly others as needed. It's a room full of Redbird sims running scenarios in the PilotEdge system. Any plans for another PE meetup this year? I live only a little over an hour away, so I can probably be there any day.

I'll be there, but just for a quick visit. Flying in Sunday evening for a Cirrus party, COPA dinner Monday night, and leaving Tuesday morning. I'll swing by the Redbirds on Monday to say hello for sure.

I'll be there Tuesday through Saturday with my son.

I'll swing by the proficiency center for sure.

Will be at the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center all week, located at the 4 corners pavilion. Will also be giving a presentation there on Saturday afternoon.

Will think about a meetup!

We'll be doing a press release and mailing list announcement about this, but for a preview of the activity happening at the Proficiency Center this year, check out http://www.eaapilotproficiency.com

We've upgraded the scenario list from 6 VFR and 4 IFR to ~15 of each. There's a LOT of new stuff to see. The sims are all Redbird LD's now rather than a mix of TD's and LD's.

I have never been to OSH.... it's really stupid that I've not been there yet I know!

I think I'll try to go as a controller in the coming years, once my youngest is a little older and can appreciate the "scenery."

Looking forward to the show this year! Hopefully we can organize another meetup. Can't wait to see the a10.

That's too bad Ken. You had a prime location last year, right across from the free food! Without the free missionary food, I don't see a reason for another meetup. :)

We ate their leftovers for a week after last years show!! I felt so guilty that I sent them a donation. Just walk into the MASA tent....they will feed you. Just don't bring Keith with you, he seemed to have a hard time playing the role of a Missionary Pilot
