Alone on CTAF frequencies?

I've flown at untowered fields many times tuned to CTAF.

At KAVX and Big Bear I've often seen other traffic movements but I've never heard anyone else broadcasting on CTAF frequencies.

Am I missing something, have I got something wrong in setup or is relaying of CTAF messages not featured on Pilotedge?

The planes you're seeing are likely to be drones, they don't talk on the radio. The CTAFs work as you would expect. If there was another real pilot transmitting on the freq, within range, you'd hear them.
