Payment method
My work means I can be away from my PC for months at a time. Does PE offer the ability to pay for individual months rather than by standing order?

It's a recurring service, but you can cancel it any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period (ie, it won't renew at the start of the next billing period).
To make it work as an 'on demand' service, you would activate the account, then immediately cancel it. It would work for a month and then automatically close (ie, you effectively pay for on month). Several months later, you reactivate it and cancel immediately after. Repeat as desired.
