I've just started my instrument rating and am looking for challenging aproaches on the PE network.
So far the most challenging thing is simply controlling my sim. The controls are very sensitive and don't respond at all like real aircraft controls.
Most Challenging Approach in PE area

NDB-C @ GENERAL WM J FOX AIRFIELD preferably in solid IMC with a strong crosswind.

I enjoy the VOR-A into KWHP approaching from KFUL or KSNA via Tech Route and SMO.
Tight, compact, things get busy after PT.
Always a circle to land, good spatial awareness practice.

Re: Most Challenging Approach in PE area
VOR RWY 30 into LGB has a pretty serious dogleg on it.
