Ahh, my beloved A2A Cherokee 180...must've been fun getting her up to 10.5 in the first place, only to nearly get run over by an uppity Baron. Head on a swivel!

Without a doubt, the A2A Cherokee is the best simplane I've flown. It's the only reason I keep FSX/P3D around anymore

Agreed. Even though I have both a2a cessnas, Piper is my favorite hands down. I look forward to bigger beasts now though, like RealAir Turbine Duke ..
DavidC: actually it's not that hard to get up there
I try to fly 12500, in this case I just had to step down a little bit due to some clouds ahead.

Re: Next time you are at 10500 westbound..
I have the RealAir Turbine Duke too, and it's a joyful airplane. The modeling is wonderful and it's an absolute rocket. It's not as difficult to stay ahead of as I expected, with the exception of learning to manage your power early due to the sluggish response of a turbine compared to a piston. It also doesn't have the persistence features that A2A provides, but it does have a cold and dark option and in-game checklists (via FSX's Kneeboard in the menus).
The only reason I haven't flown the Duke on PE is...the faster I'm moving, the faster I have to make radio calls and freq switches. I'm not ready for that yet.
